Harvard Art Museum Patrons Reception and Tea Ceremony

  • Fou Gallery 89 5th Avenue New York NY 10003 (map)

During Asia Week New York 2025, Fou Gallery and Teasthetic co-hosted an intimate tea ceremony for supporters of the Harvard Art Museums and Harvard University. Welcoming 20 guests around two tables in the serene setting of the solo exhibition of Shanghai-based artist NISKY, the ceremony was led by tea practitioners Mengyan Gong and Xinglu Li. This refined sensory experience featured two premium seasonal Chinese teas, carefully selected and masterfully brewed, accompanied by a handmade tea dessert. The tea stage was elegantly arranged along a long table with seasonal flower arrangement and artisanal tea utensils. The gathering began with a mindful breathing practice, guiding guests into a state of calm presence before savoring the tea together in reflective appreciation of its aesthetics and essence.
