In this immersive sound-based workshop, artist and musician Eldar Baruch guides participants through a meditative journey of attentive listening, creative expression, and collaborative connection. Using both acoustic and electronic tools, participants engage in hands-on looping experiments that begin with personal introspection and gradually unfold into shared sonic creation.

Grounded in the practice of deep listening - as inner emotions are translated into sounds - participants are invited to explore the mindful interplay between their internal world and collective resonance, while reflecting, exploring, and playing with everyday soundscapes.

Open to artists and the wider community, this workshop offers a space to pause, listen, and connect - within and beyond.

Instructor

Eldar Baruch is a composer, sound designer, and live musician-performer across contemporary choreographed dance, theater, dance films, and video art. His musical canvas encompasses melodic piano solos, synthesizers, organic soundscapes, beats, acoustic instruments, and toy sounds. Specializing in live music for site-specific works, improvised dance, and Contact Improvisation, Eldar blends spontaneity with precision - a skill honed through his experience as both musician and mover, merging sound with the lived experience of movement, breath, and time.

His work has been featured in “Had My Mouth” (Out-FRONT! Festival, New York), “Sole” (Dance on Camera Festival, Lincoln Center, New York), Films That Move Festival (Cape Charles, Virginia), Synesthesia Festival (Portugal), Shanghai Improvisation Festival (China).
